The X5 Dot Wash is an extremely compact mini-washlight and has been designed to solve the problem of getting great light quality and high CRI from a small LED based fixture that is no larger than an MR16 Birdie.
The GLP X5 Dot Wash uses a 40W RGBL LED from the impression X5 Series to give high CRI across a large color gamut and has been critically acclaimed across the theatrical and televisual markets. Its small body and sleek design allow it to be tucked into small locations – whether seen or unseen.
It features 16-bit color control and an color match to the X5 Series. The integrated exclusive Twist-Zoom-Mechanism allows manual zoom from 16 to 68 degrees without altering the fixture’s body. Its IP65 rating ensures plenty of use options. The X5 Dot runs on 24 – 48 V DC from any external power source and can run wirelessly or wired for data.
If people prefer the classic birdie look, the optional accessory adapter fits any existing accessories.

Integrated innovative Twist Zoom Mechanism
The integrated innovative twist zoom mechanism allows the zoom to be adjusted by rotating the front lens. At no time does the fixture change its existing size. Thus, the X5 Dot Wash can be placed in even so small niches and adapted in terms of light. The replacement of external filter discs is unnecessary.
Equal efficiency in every zoom position
Unlike conventional zoom optics, the luminous flux remains almost stable in any zoom position.
Color Boost for maximum efficiency in saturated colors
Through intelligent power management, the maximum power in saturated single driving is massively increased. This ensures that optimal performance is achieved at all times.
Calibrated Colormix (iQ.Gamut) with defined White Points
The GLP iQ.Gamut technology ensures uniform colors and intensities, particularly good pastel colors in addition to highly saturated primary colors. That gives perfect match to the well loved GLP Creos and X5 Series.
Wireless or fixed wired
The X5 Dot Wash can be conveniently controlled wirelessly via the integrated GLP iQ.Mesh module. If a wireless control is not desired, the small fixture can traditionally be connected in a fixed wired manner via DMX.
No cost intensive Driver, Gateway or Powersupply needed
The X5 Dot Wash can be connected to and operated through any standard power supply. As a result, there are no hidden extra costs due to special power supplies or driver units. Of course, GLP also offers a suitable power supply for everyday touring life.
Protected from moisture, water and other impurities
Thanks to the certified IP65 protection, the X5 Dot Wash can be used indoors and outdoors. Protection against moisture, water, dirt, dust, or other influences are an enormous advantage especially in the fixed installation. Gone is the time of complex and cost-intensive headlight cleaning.
