impression X5 Wash, impression X5 Compact already available in large quantities; impression X5 IP Maxx shortly to be added to the inventory
As one of the leading German rental companies, Kaiser Showtechnik GmbH, based in Augsburg, is setting an example by making a large-scale investment in GLP's new X5 platform.
The impression X5 Wash and impression X5 Compact are already available in large quantities. At the same time, the company is preparing a comparable investment in the weatherproof (IP65), high-performance impression X5 IP Maxx washlight – underlining their trust in the quality, performance and versatility of the X5 Series.
Following the market-leading position held by the impression X4 for many years, the company anticipates that the X5 Series will continue this success.
“The GLP washlights are renowned for their reliability and quality,” states Maxx Kaiser, managing director of Kaiser Showtechnik. “The innovative properties of the X5 Series and their high quality offer numerous application possibilities and open up new market opportunities for us.”
Kaiser Showtechnik decided at an early stage to invest in the first model in the X5 Series, the impression X5 Wash. And having had very good experiences with it, the smaller impression X5 Compact (with 7 × 40W RGBL LEDs) was soon on the Augsburg company’s wish list. A detailed product demonstration by GLP’s Dejan Hajdukovic contributed significantly to the decision to invest in the second product in the series.
Like all devices in the X5 Series, the impression X5 Compact is equipped with the new iQ.Gamut colour algorithm, which generates a clean white point with a CRI 90 / TLCI 90 at 6,500 K. Quick switching to other fixed colour temperatures, which are all precisely calibrated to the colour temperature curve and offer consistent colour quality with CRI 85 / TLCI 75 at 3,200 K, also characterises all models in the X5 Series.
“The X5 Compact immediately impressed us with its extremely compact design, impressive pan/tilt speed and very fast, large zoom. Given these product features, which clearly set the impression X5 Compact apart from other fixtures in this class, it was clear that the device would become a very important tool in our range,” adds Kaiser.
He concludes: “We decided to purchase a large number of different X5 models for different application scenarios. This reflects our confidence in the X5 Series products and at the same time underlines our commitment to always working with first-class technology.”
