Enjoy the read!

The Weeknd relies on MAD MAXX

When The Weeknd takes the stage, things go "larger than life" – powered by GLP’s mighty MAD MAXX CW Searchlights on his After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

Lighting designer Jason Baeri praises their incredible reach, calling them a true “statement tool” for raw power. With IP66 protection, these LED searchlights defy heavy rain and create massive sky-tracking effects across entire stadiums.

URBAN PULSE: Manfred Nikitser lights up the Linz Klangwolke with GLP

Spectacular visuals, driving beats, and over 100 weatherproof GLP fixtures: For the 2025 Klangwolke in Linz, lighting designer Manfred Nikitser used a powerful setup featuring Creos, impression X5 IP Maxx, and WildBar 16.

Together with a large creative team, he transformed the Donaupark into a vibrant open-air stage full of rhythm, color, and energy – showing what’s possible with GLP, even in unconventional outdoor settings.

When technology sparks emotion: TLD Planungsgruppe stages Mercedes-Benz with GLP KNV Cube & JDC Burst 1

At IAA Mobility 2025, TLD Planungsgruppe turned Munich’s Apothekenhof into a stunning brand space for Mercedes-Benz – blending architecture, light, and emotion.

A standout element: 265 GLP KNV Cubes recreating the iconic Mercedes-Benz grille as a monumental light sculpture. Inside, 86 JDC Burst 1 units shaped an immersive space full of energy and depth – a prime example of how technical precision and creative vision can merge into a cohesive brand experience.

Thank you, LEaT con!

The GLP team says thank you for three fantastic days in Hamburg! Once again, LEaT con 2025 felt like a true family gathering of the industry.

Great conversations, warm encounters, and plenty of new contacts made for a strong presence. Our booth was buzzing throughout the show, and with Attilio Messina and David Schubert, two new faces from the GLP sales team were also on site.

Product highlight: the new 3-segment frost filter for the Creos – a small but mighty upgrade with big visual impact. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

New video: GLP at Jazz Open Stuttgart

Eleven production days, seven show days – and a lineup ranging from smooth jazz to rock’n’roll: Jazz Open Stuttgart is one of Germany’s most diverse open-air festivals.

In this video, lighting designer Jerry Appelt and operator Fabian Lahme explain how they used impression X5 IP Maxx, JDC2 IP, Matrix Eye 4, and WildBar 16 to create a flexible, weatherproof lighting setup that worked across all genres.
