ISE 2026 – What a show | | | Barcelona did not disappoint – and neither did you. ISE 2026 was an exceptionally strong show for us, with a constantly busy booth, great conversations and a fantastic atmosphere. Right at the centre: our new double-faced moving head TWYN, a true crowd magnet. The fusion of JDC Burst 1 and Creos created real excitement – Wash and Strobe, two worlds in one fixture. But that was far from all. From the theatre-inspired X5 Dot to the versatile Wild Wash 12 and the flexible Nexus Series, you showed us what matters to you – and we felt our new developments hit the mark. The first prototype of the new FR2 Wash attracted plenty of curious attention as well. And of course, our Hospitality Area: great conversations, familiar faces, new encounters and something good to drink – exactly how we know you, and ourselves. Thank you to everyone who joined us – it was a pleasure. Read our full show review and discover all the highlights. | | | |
| | JDC Burst 1 wins Parnelli Award 2026 | | | The year has only just begun – and we have already secured our first major award. The GLP JDC Burst 1 received the prestigious Indispensable Technology Award at the 2026 Parnelli Awards, one of the highest honours in the live event industry. JDC Burst 1 stands for uncompromising performance, enormous output and maximum creativity in a robust IP65 design. No surprise it impressed both you and the jury. This award belongs not only to us, but also to all designers, customers and users who work with the JDC Burst 1 and voted for it. | | |
| | Rock ’n’ roll meets theatre: GLP Creos make their stage debut at London’s Almeida Theatre | | | The GLP Creos has made its theatre debut at the renowned Almeida Theatre in London. For the first stage adaptation of The Line of Beauty, lighting designer Howard Hudson relied heavily on GLP. Alongside impression X5 Compact and X5 Bar 1000, three Creos washlights were deployed in a theatre production for the very first time, creating striking visual moments. A minimalist white set, reflective floor and rapid scene changes demanded flexibility, precise colour mixing and smooth dimming. The result: rich 1980s colours, elegant transitions and a wash of light transforming the entire space. Particularly exciting on stage: identical LED chipsets within the X5 platform ensured perfect colour consistency. Discover how Creos moved from festival rider to refined theatre lighting tool – and why rectangular light sources open up a completely new design approach on theatre stages. | | | |
| | Over 140 impression X5 at PUR and Friends in the VELTINS-Arena | | | A 360° arena show, central stage, three walkways – and more than 140 GLP impression X5 at the heart of it all. For German band PUR’s anniversary show at the VELTINS-Arena, lighting designer Gunther Hecker once again relied on his current favourite washlight. Whether truss, stage or walkways, the impression X5 had to perform flawlessly from every angle – with stable output, high brightness and precise colour mixing. This is where iQ.Gamut demonstrated its strength, delivering consistent whites and rich colours across a large-scale 360° production. Find out why Hecker currently calls the X5 “THE LED washlight” and how the complex design was realised in the full case study. | | | |
| | GLP at LEaT X 2026 – See you in Munich? | | | If you missed Barcelona earlier this month, you’ll have another chance to experience our latest developments on 4–5 March at LEaT X in the Dampfdom at Motorworld Munich. On show: the dual-sided GLP TWYN, the micro-format impression X5 Dot and the Wild Wash 12. You’ll find us at stand no. 35. Unlike Barcelona, LEaT X offers a more compact and relaxed setting – more time for personal conversations, more room for detail, and more opportunity to explore products properly and ask questions. Come by and let’s talk. We look forward to seeing you. | | | |
