GLP impressively stages DAS FEST 2025 | | | Crystal Sound created striking lighting moments at DAS FEST 2025 with GLP – despite unstable weather conditions. JDC Burst 1, Matrix Eye, and impression X5 were used on the main and lake stages, impressing with their IP65 safety, high efficiency, and impressive visual effects. The new Matrix Eye blinders and JDC Burst 1 in particular delivered strong colors, precise accents, and captivating “eye candy.” With GLP's weatherproof equipment, the experienced team at Crystal Sound created an atmospheric stage design for one of the largest festivals in southern Germany. | | | |
| | MATRIX Eye: GLP's new LED blinder with X5 color quality | | | With MATRIX Eye 2 and MATRIX Eye 4, GLP introduces a modular LED blinder series that creates the classic halogen look from an RGBAL engine. Thanks to the GLP iQ.Gamut color algorithm, the series delivers brilliant colors, natural pastel tones, and realistic tungsten emulation. The intelligent frame system enables seamless clusters in any formation, while IP65 protection and high output values make the devices suitable for touring and festivals. Two models, one standard – designed for maximum flexibility. | | | |
| | MAD MAXX: Now IP66 – Ready for Any Outdoor Application | | | GLP has upgraded the weather protection of the MAD MAXX from IP65 to IP66, making the powerful LED fatbeam fully suitable for long-term outdoor installations. With 68,000 lumens and its impressive 750 mm light aperture, the MAD MAXX was used this summer on major open-air productions worldwide – from The Weeknd to Wacken. The new IP66 certification opens up additional applications, such as in theme parks, arenas, or permanent installations. | | | |
