Dear Visitor,

we’ve released a new firmware update for the GLP impression X5 series.

(X5 Compact, X5, X5 IP, X5 IP Maxx, X5 Bar and X5 IP Bar)

GLP impression X5 series V3.0.7

Show critical update!

This update is show critical as pan and tilt speed and acceleration have been increased for X5 IP Maxx. It is critical for the complete X5 series because of the magenta green shift change and as CTC and Tungsten channel bugs have been solved.

After the update, fixtures can be on factory settings.

New Features and improvements

  • Improved and increased the X5 IP Maxx Pan and Tilt movement speed and acceleration.
  • Increased the range of the Magenta / Green shift channel

‍Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: CTC channel was not working in color mix mode RGBL
  • Fixed: FX Tungsten indices are now matching the DMX chart. They were offset by -10.

‍Version Packages

impression-X5_3.0.7_BOOTDMX.bin consist of Main BL V3.2.0

impression-X5_3.0.7_DMX.bin (package), iQ.Mesh 6.0.35 or later, iQ.Service App 2.10.4 or later

How to update

  • iQ.Service App and iQ.Tool is needed both for the update
  • Please follow the update process described in the changelog.

iQ.Tool:


GLPs advanced service (and more) tool integrated into the iQ.Service platform. It is used for firmware updates via DMX line and can be controlled with the iQ.Service App. It can also be used for controlling non iQ.Mesh fixtures wirelessly.
