Main changes from V1.1.3 to V1.4.3

‍NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS

• Added Art-Net functionality (sACN in progress - coming soon)
• Added Performance Mode for Beamshaper accessory.
• The X5 will detect added accessory automatically and change performance setting for Pan/Tilt speed.

‍BUG FIXES 

• ‍optimization of the SW of the motor driver boards
• Corrected Tilt direction for X5 Bar 1000 and X5 IP Bar.
  > Tilt will move towards front (away from display) when increasing DMX values.

‍UPDATE PROCESS

All Fixtures need 2 updates. One after the other.

Via D3Prog / RS485/ DMX

As these files are very big you have to change the DProg type with the PA Application to the 4-storage -version. (Prog.Update > Set DProg type > Number of files = 4).

The transfer of the bootloader from PC to the programmer takes about 3 minutes. The transfer of the main software from PC to programmer takes about 10 - 15 minutes.

1. Update the Main Bootloader V1.4.3 package via DMX/RS485 via D3Prog (impression-X5_1.4.3_BOOTDMX.bin)
2. Update the Main Application V1.4.3 package via DMX/RS485 via D3Prog (impression-X5_1.4.3_DMX.bin)

Please make sure that no other DMX receivers or consoles are active on the line and fixtures Control Protocol is set to DMX and not to loose power during the complete update process!

As the 2 files for the upload are very big please allow the transfere SW please allow the PA transfere App a little time for all responses.

After transfer of the Bootloader to the fixtures, some fixtures may have their displays off. Please give them another 5 minutes for internal transfer of the bootloaders. and then start with the main application update.

After then main application update is transferred to the fixtures they will need another ten minutes to update all drivers internally. After this is done, the fixtures will perform a reset, show a red error message and then update/restore the color calibration.

‍WARNING

‍A CRITICAL BUG WAS FIXED IN BOOTLOADER 1.4.3! Make sure all slave bootloaders are updated to version 2.2.1 (package 1.4.3) before attempting any further update. If this is not obeyed, the Network Interface can be bricked and requires opening of the fixture!

This update is show critical as the tilt direction of bar fixtures is changed. And motor drivers are optimized in general.

As the Main bootloader is updated, the fixtures could be on factory settings after the  update.

FUSION X-PAR 8Z

Main changes from V1.2.0 to V1.2.6

‍FEATURES

Control Channel:

Changed Slot 251 - 255 : This was “Default Settings” and changed to regular Fixture

Reset. ( GLP Style DMX Table). Default setting is still available on Control Channel

DMX Slot 161 - 165.

‍BUG FIXES 

• Improved iQ.Mesh
• Power Cycle Counter does not work correctly.

‍UPDATE PROCESS

Update Options:

• Variant a) Update via Fusion PC Software with USB to XLR Adapter or update with Fusion Updater ( for ExoSeries and XParSeries)
• Variant b) Update via iQ.Service App via iQ.Tool (Android / iOS), prefered
• Variant c) Update via iQ.Service App and iQ.Mesh, prefered

a. and b. work daisy chain via DMX. The fixtures control protocol must be set to

DMX.

For option c the fixtures control protocol must be iQ.Mesh (this can be set via

menu dispaly or via DMX Control channel slot 011-015 (iQ.Service.Connect).

In this case the DMX console can stay connected until update is finished.

Please make sure no other DMX transmitters or receivers are active during update.

Fusion X-PAR 12Z

Main changes from V1.0.10 to V1.2.6

‍NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS

• Improved RDM functionality.
• Added Serial Number via RDM
• Added Software Version via RDM
• Added 3 different total timers. ( total power cycle, total lamp hours, total fixture hours). These can be seen via display and RDM, too.
• Added Quick Menu > Hold the right button for 5 seconds to get into the quick menu with 2 options 1) Default Settings 2) Factory Settings
• Control Channel:
• Changed Slot 251 - 255 : This was “Default Settings” and changed to regular Fixture Reset (GLP Style DMX Table). Default setting is still available on Control Channel DMX Slot 161 - 165.
• Added Slot 026 - 030: Compatibility : XPar12Z will perform with the same brightness (reduced) as XPar8Z

• Corrected the behaviour of the left button (Menu button)
• Corrected the behaviour of the right button (Hold button to enter Quick Menu) Solved a bug in CTO channel
